Advanced Nutrients Online is an online supplier for Advanced Nutrients plant growth nutrients.

Prior to using a Skookum Monkey custom theme, Advance Nutrients Online was using a very old php site. Not only was the site’s code old but it was years behind current web standards, such as the site was not responsive.

Advanced Nutrients Online wanted a clean, minimal theme.

Aside from building a brand new WordPress custom theme for Advanced Nutrients Online, we also installed and setup WooCommerce; adding all of their products which include complex composite products. We were also tasked to make sure that the site remained Google-friendly so that they would not lose their page 1 and 2 SERP rankings for specific keywords. The SEO work included: Optimizing each page with Yoast SEO plugin, creating an SEO-friendly theme, creating 301 redirects for old pages to the new pages, and monitoring the site after the new site was launched with Google’s Webmaster Tools to make sure it was still indexing well, plus searching for specific keywords to make sure their were holding their SERP.

With our SEO work, Advanced Nutrients Online not only maintained their SERP results, but a few terms now rank higher than they did before.
